The famous magazine Forbes has released its 2013 list of the richest men on the planet, and Othman Benjelloun, founder of Finance.Com, topped the 2013 list of Moroccan Billionaires ahead of Miloud Chaabi, the owner of Ynna Holding, and Anas Sefrioui, CEO of the real estate company, Addoha.
Othman Benjelloun ranked first with a net worth of more than $3.1 billion against $ 2.3 billion for Miloud Chaabi
Benjelloun also ranked 7th among 40 African billionaires, and 437th among Forbes billionaires.
Othman Benjelloun, made his fortune in the insurance sector and banking, with ?Les Assurances Al Watania? and BMCE. With his company Finance.Com, he is expanding its activity in telecommunications, air transport and information technology
Carlos Slim, the Mexican businessman of Lebanese origin, retains his spot as the world?s richest person with a fortune estimated at $73 billion, followed by the Microsoft boss Bill Gates
The 2013 Forbes Billionaires list now boasts 1,426 names, with an aggregate net worth of $5.4 trillion, up from $4.6 trillion
