We were in process of buying a Fannie Mae REO and about one week before closing the house was broke into and vandalized.? This event caused quite a delay in the closing and it didn't happen on the date listed in the contract.? Sellers broke contract early morning on that date.? How fair was that to me, it was their responsibility to maintain the house.? The house went back on the market the next day.? What if anything can be done?
